ES CAVALLET BEACH
The most bohemian beach in Ibiza
Located in the southeast of Ibiza, in the Las Salinas Natural Park, this is a long beach of fine white sand and clear waters.
It was the first nudist beach on the island and remains a peaceful spot for a break from the summer crowds.

Es Cavallet Beach is located just beyond the church of Sant Francesc de s’Estany, at the end of a narrow, winding road lying just a few inches above the salt waters. It lies at the foot of a stretch of white sand dunes, stretching from the mountains to the north to an old defense tower that marks the southern tip of Ibiza.
Es Cavallet is a long, narrow beach of over 2.5 km where nudism is permitted, and where you’ll only see couples, small groups, and scattered families, along with other strollers who end up disappearing further on, towards Chiringay, the last link in Ibiza’s more open approach to the diverse ways of thinking and feeling that have always made it world-famous.
The Levante wind, which often ripples the sea and carries banks of posidonia that pile up along the shore, darkening the turquoise waters of this beach here and there, along with the dunes and mountains that border it on both sides, giving Es Cavallet a wild and untamed appearance.
Furthermore, it is a secluded beach, never suffering from the crowds of other beaches on the island, as it is limited by a single, small parking lot that, in the height of summer, is full from 12 pm.
Es Cavallet is an option for a different experience of the beach and sea in Ibiza, more relaxed, without the pressure of the fun of other beaches on the island known for their beach clubs. It is a beach for lazing around, sunbathing, and letting yourself be carried away by that different rhythm of summer that goes from sea to sand and from sand to sea.
For Dining:
La Escollera Restaurant: Located in a corner of the beach facing the sea, to the north of the beach. An exclusive classic on the island for over 30 years. Famous for its paellas, fresh fish, and local produce.
El Chiringuito: Located at the foot of the dunes, this restaurant imbues the bohemian spirit of the beach and the sophistication of Ibiza with elaborate Mediterranean cuisine and local produce. It also offers sun lounger service for a bite to eat and a snack.
El Chiringay: Located at the end of the beach, after a walk along the shore. Based on traditional Mediterranean dishes, it plays with nuances typical of Asian cuisine. A restaurant that, as its name suggests, is characterized by its gay, casual, and cosmopolitan atmosphere, typical of the island of Ibiza.
